Do I need planning permission for a home charger?
Most domestic installations don't need planning permission. Listed buildings or chargers near a road may have restrictions, which we'll check before starting work.
Can I charge my car overnight on a standard socket instead?
You can, but it's slow (around 10 hours for a full charge) and not recommended for regular use. A dedicated 7kW charger cuts this to 3-4 hours and is safer for continuous high-load charging.
